NDC youth storms Electoral Commission
Ghana had a presidential elections run-off on Sunday 28th December 2008. Amidst counter accusations of vote rigging, the NDC's Presidential candidate Professor John Evans Atta-Mills took a clear lead. Rumours of the NPP conniving with the Electoral Commission (a rumour that proved totally false) forced NDC youth from all over the capital to storm the Electoral Commission. Contention over one constituency, Tain has held up official declarations of a winner till another run-off his held for just Tain this friday.
